About me

Junyang Li is a music producer focusing on film/pop music production, and his work has been played over 2 million times. He publishes his music and self-produced songs on online music software such as Net-ease music and Spotify.

 

Junyang showed his interest in music when he was in elementary school. His main instruments are keyboard, vocal, music arranging and guitar. He started the first pop band at his high school, "The branches", Junyang was the lead vocal and guitarist. At that time, he decided to study music major in college. In the last year of his high school experience, he transferred back to Beijing, China, to dedicate himself to studying music composition and preparing the portfolio for college applications. Since 2018 and 2019, Junyang has started learning keyboard skills and music arrangement at Shanghai Knote music institution and NiuBan music institution. Junyang's goal as a musician is to express his thoughts and emotions. He wishes his music could bring people energy and inner peace to their mental world.

 

Besides Film&Pop music, Junyang is also dedicated to producing music in other music styles. He has been working on rock and Latin jazz in his school projects, such as music for the computer game "DOOM" and “Mario kart Eight deluxe” on Nintendo switch. In his free time, he self-produced songs in pop and hiphop style. He believes that music learning is endless; each music style represents each country's different, deep and long culture.

 

In 2019, Junyang started at the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University. He is currently a Senior student and studies major in music for film/game music. At school, he earned a lot of film/game music composing experiences, collaborated with orchestra ensembles such as Budapest scoring orchestra , and experienced recording sessions at professional studios.
